]]> The RealTech Controls model ETX Water Hardness Analyzer / Controller offers cost-effective, user-friendly control of Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) for Industrial Water Treatment applications. Water Hardness is caused by the presence of calcium and magnesium carbonates. The ratio of calcium to magnesium is generally fixed, typically in the ratio 3:1 (Ca:Mg), therefore Total Hardness can be inferred, by knowing the amount of calcium present.

Together with the S80 Calcium ion sensor, the model ETX water hardness analyzer provides online, real-time values of water hardness, and incorporates programmable mA and relay outputs for control and monitoring. The user-friendly menu structure provides for quick access calibration and if you are familiar with programming other brands of controllers, you will find this to be the cutting edge and easiest of set-ups.

It is recommended that the EMEC NPED3 sensor holder is installed together with the S80 sensor, to ensure the sensor tip remains submerged at all times with relatively even flow.
